Annual Virginia Bike Walk Conference
Making Connections
April 6-8, 2003 |
|
|
 Join
us this April for the 5th Annual Bike Walk Virginia Conference
in Olde Towne Portsmouth. This year's theme is "Making
Connections" - to places, communities and each other
through new approaches that bring together planning, recreation
and transportation imperatives. This is the only conference
in the Commonwealth devoted to addressing non-motorized
mobility, comprehensive planning and health and recreational
issues. The conference will provide a platform for an open
exchange of ideas between planners from MPOs, towns and
counties, educators and health/PE coordinators K-12, law
enforcement, municipal officials, state agency representatives,
cycling and walking groups and concerned citizens.
